Do you cater for babies?
Sorry, no. We are not able to fit car seats in the bus and we have no luggage storage for a pram. Young children aged 3 and up are welcome, if they can sit in a standard bus seat with a seatbelt on.
Is Cedar Creek flowing?
Cedar Creek Falls flows after rain, so throughout the summer months the falls are flowing pretty consistently, and in the cooler months there will be some periods after rain where the falls are flowing.
Can we swim on this tour?
Yes! You can swim in the freshwater swimming hole at Cedar Creek, at the beach at Frog Rock and Cape Gloucester, and in the saltwater swimming pool at Cape Gloucester Resort.
Where are there toilets and changing facilities on the tour?
Cedar Creek: drop toilets, no changing rooms. Coffee Farm: toilets Frog Rock: no facilities Cape Gloucester Resort: toilets and changing rooms
We are staying in Proserpine, can we be picked up?
To ensure you get the full tour experience, we recommend you drive to Airlie Beach and join us there. Alternatively, we can meet you at the corner of Conway Road and Shute Harbour Road and you can join us for our first stop at Cedar Creek Falls.
Why isn't lunch included?
Great question! We decided to do that to keep our price lower, and allow our guests the freedom to choose off the restaurant menu, which varies from bowl of chips to a seafood platter for two. You can buy as little or as much as you like to suit your appetite and budget. Alternatively, this gives you the freedom to pack a picnic lunch and enjoy it on the beach, instead of buying lunch at the resort.
How long do we spend on the bus?
You should not spend more than 1 hour on the bus between the 4 locations. It is approximately 30 minutes from Airlie Beach to Cedar Creek Falls. Then 20 minutes to the coffee farm, 40 minutes to Frog Rock, 5 minutes to the resort, and finally, about 50 minutes home to Airlie Beach.
Do you provide stinger suits?
We do not have stinger suits on the bus. Should you wish to swim at the beach in the summer months, we recommend you bring your own suit (you can hire one from Aqua Dive at Coral Sea Marina). You will not need one to swim at Cedar Creek or the resort pool.
Is this tour wheelchair friendly?
Due to rough, rocky terrain at multiple natural locations, we do not recommend this tour for wheelchair users.
