Your Itinerary
Cedar Creek Falls and Rockpool
Explore the Whitsunday Coast hinterland with a visit to Cedar Creek Falls and rockpool. Swim in the fresh waterhole, explore the creek up- and downstream from the falls. The hike to the top of the falls is not for the faint hearted, but is worth the climb for the adventurous. After rain the waterfall will be flowing (seasonal). Listen to the sounds of the Australian bush with birds and butterflies making a flash appearance. Look for freshwater turtles.
Whitsunday Gold Coffee Farm
On to Whitsunday Gold Coffee Farm for a quick rest stop where you may want to buy a coffee and morning tea snack. Check out the colourful native Australian birds and resident animals: Crispy & Crackle the pigs, the chickens and doves, goats, alpacas, and guinea pigs.
Cape Gloucester Resort
Don’t eat too much, because our next stop is north to the Hydeaway Bay region through cane farms and cattle properties to Cape Gloucester Resort for lunch. Enjoy a refreshing beverage and delicious meal from the menu (own cost). Dine on the deck overlooking the beachfront getaway.
Frog Rock
Our visit to Cape Gloucester includes time to meander along the beach, dip our toes in the water, and a visit to one of our favourite secret spots nearby, known as Frog Rock.
Tour Inclusions
Tour includes hotel transfers from Jubilee Pocket to Cannonvale, tour guide and commentary in our new, fully air-conditioned touring coach.
Meals and drinks are at own cost (starting from $10), or pack a picnic lunch to eat on the beach. Not recommend for children under 3 and we can not fit car seats in the bus.
