Daydream Island Living Reef Experience

• 8:00 AM – Departure from Coral Sea Marina, Airlie Beach: Set sail aboard the beautiful Lady Enid to begin your day of adventure.
• Morning Tea on Board: Enjoy a delicious morning tea while taking in the stunning scenery of the Whitsunday Islands, sailing part of the historic Ngaro Sea Trail as the crew share stories of the Ngaro people and Whitsunday history.
• Sail to Daydream Island: Arrive for the exclusive Living Reef and snorkelling experience.
• Guided Living Reef Experience: Daydream Island’s resident Marine Biologist will greet you and walk you through the Living Reef, including an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the coral restoration program.
• Snorkel at Lovers Cove Beach: Explore the vibrant fish and corals of the underwater world.
• Buffet Lunch on Board: Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch with plenty of fresh, local flavours to fuel your afternoon.
• Relaxing Return Sail: Sail back to port with a glass of Australian sparkling wine and a cheese and antipasto plate.
• 4:00 PM – Return to Airlie Beach (approximately).

• Adults-Only Indulgence: The only adults-only sailing tour in the Whitsundays, offering an intimate and relaxed atmosphere.
• Low Numbers: We generally limit guest numbers to 24, with four crew at your service.

• Exclusive Living Reef Access: Learn about Daydream Island’s Living Reef program, home to over 100 species of local marine life, including rays, reef sharks, corals and tropical fish.
• Delectable Dining: Indulge in a scrumptious morning tea, a freshly prepared lunch featuring fresh prawns, and delightful snacks. Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine paired with a delicious antipasto and cheese plate as you sail back to Airlie Beach.
• Snorkel Lovers Cove: Dive into mesmerising aqua waters to explore the vibrant marine life at Lovers Cove, Daydream Island,  beach-entry snorkelling above living coral restoration sites.

Morning Tea:  

• A selection of tea, coffee or hot chocolate
• Fresh scones with strawberry jam, clotted cream and fresh strawberries 

Lunch:

• Prawns, salmon, chicken breast & sliced ham
• Sourdough bread and condiments
• Four seasonal salads
  • Pumpkin, fetta & pasta 
  • Quinoa and chickpea in a lemon sauce
  • Asian slaw
  • Green salad

Treats throughout the day

• Chocolate brownies
• Fruit platter

Sail home

• Glass of Australian sparkling wine
• Antipasto and cheese plate

We can cater to all dietary requirements, 24 hours notice is required.

• Snorkelling is a physical activity.  To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we recommend that participants are competent and confident swimmers. While flotation devices are available, the snorkelling locations are in open ocean environments, which may have varying conditions, such as currents and waves.
• Our experienced crew will guide you through safe entry and exit points and provide instructions before entering the water. This tour is not ideal for non-swimmers or if you feel apprehensive about entering the ocean.   We encourage you to speak with our staff prior to booking.  Your safety and comfort are our top priorities.
• To be able to get off the boat to enjoy the destinations and snorkelling, guests must be physically able to climb 4-5 rungs down a ladder, hung on the outside of the hull of the ship, into a waiting dinghy below.

• • Iconic Whitsunday Adventures always reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept, deny, or terminate participation by any person in any snorkelling activity at any time. This may be due to various medical conditions; your risk may increase if you have any of the following conditions:

• • • Heart conditions or lung issues (including asthma)
    • Medical conditions that may cause loss of consciousness (such as certain types of epilepsy or diabetes)
    • Asthma or epilepsy that can be triggered by cold water or saltwater mist

• The restrictions reflect the requirements of the Snorkelling Code of Practice 2024, which is approved under the Safety in Recreational Water Activities Act 2011.

• A Great Attitude: Bring your sense of adventure and be ready for an unforgettable day on the water!
  
• Swimwear: You’ll want to be ready for snorkelling and swimming in the beautiful Whitsundays, so wear your swimwear under your clothes.
  
• Footwear for a bushwalk, if you are steady on foot, sandals or flip flops are sufficient for these walks.
  
• Towel: Dry off after your swim or enjoy some sunbathing.
  
• Sunscreen: Reef-safe sunscreen is highly recommended to protect your skin and the marine environment.
  
• Sunglasses & Hat: The tropical sun can be strong, so protect your eyes and face.
  
• Protective Clothing: A lightweight, long-sleeved shirt or rash guard is ideal for sun protection.
  
• Camera/GoPro: Capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments above and below the water.
  
• Reusable Water Bottle: Stay hydrated throughout the adventure.
  
• Comfortable Footwear: Suitable for getting on and off the boat and exploring the Caves.

• You must be physically fit and mobile. Lady Enid is a yacht, therefore has many steps, ropes and uneven surfaces and a ladder into the dinghy
  
• You must be able to swim if you would like to snorkel.  You are welcome to stay on board if you don’t want to get your feet wet
